EETI (Reg. No. BN0ADBH2015) is the academic wing of EDDBIE Consult. It is a vocational training institute running certificate courses and training seminars.
EETI is based in Oyibi in the Greater Accra Region and has trained Montessori practitioners working in schools in Oyibi, Amariha, Dodowa and other related communities.
“Political and public support for ECEC depends to some extent on research evidence that ECEC programmes produce desirable benefits on a large scale. In the past, ECEC policies have tended to be more focused on improving quantity than quality…“– (OECD, 2006)
EETI has extended its training to include Adult Literacy Classes; with plans to include other vocational subjects, which will be introduced when the faculty is in place.
These programs are designed to unveil the potential of the rural and peri-urban dweller and empower them to be self-sufficient.
Eddbie intends to establish library services as well as adult literacy programs for rural communities that will help to broaden the scope of knowledge of the rural populations without having to leave their community.
Eddbie Educational Training Institute is the Institute for working teachers to upgrade their knowledge and skills. It is also the place for the Junior/Senior Secondary School graduate who wants a career or expertise as a teacher or caregiver that is properly equipped with the required professional skills.
